Abdul's style of teaching helped me absorb so much knowledge about driving, even in just a single session. As a nervous beginner, he really helped me get comfortable on the track.

As a complete beginner attending my first track day with SDC, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But having a professional driving coach like Abdul sit in my car made all the difference. From the very beginning, he guided me through the basics, the racing line, where and when to brake, and how to back onto the throttle smoothly.
Abdul clearly explained the dynamic of the car especially how the vehicle’s weight shifts under braking. He broke it down in a way that made total sense - how the front of the car loads up under hard braking and why that affects grip and cornering. With his calm and precise coaching, I was able to build confidence lap after lap.
By the end of the day, I felt far more confident, connected to the car and in control of my driving. I was able to then improve my lap times.

I first met Abdul back in 2023 when I was an intermediate-level driver in my BMW M2, and he immediately hopped in for a session that changed the way I approached every corner. He drills into the fundamentals, from turn-in timing and trail braking techniques to throttle application and car balance.
Most importantly, he explains the “why” behind each adjustment so it sticks. Between sessions, he peruses through my GoPro footage, AIM data, and even sim racing replays to uncover details I never knew was costing me time.
This methodical, data-driven approach has helped me shave off 13 seconds from my best lap at Buttonwillow Raceway and made my driving smoother and much more consistent.
His ability to translate complex racing concepts to clear, actionable steps is unmatched, and if you’re serious about improving in every corner, you need Abdul in the passenger seat.

I was fortunate to meet Abdul at the Pure McLaren event at Circuit of the America’s in June 2024.
